Window Energy Ratings

You may be familiar with the energy rating symbol that is used to rate the efficiency of your electrical items; well now similar ratings have been introduced for windows.

Introduced by the British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC), the purpose of Window Energy Ratings (WERs) is to make it clear to you which products will offer you the best levels of energy efficiency. Windows can be rated from A to G with A being the most energy efficient.

Only windows rated A, B or C are considered best practice by the Energy Savings Trust and they are available form Warwick Glass.

More and more we are being encouraged to address our carbon footprint and become more environmentally-conscious. We all need to do our bit for this to have an impact and what better way to do it than if it saves you money as well as saving the environment?
